In Port Sudan - where there is no tourism - it is strictly forbidden to take photos. At least, that is what most locals believe. In effect, this law has long been rescinded - but no one bothered to spread the news. There are just about no foreigners so the issue hardly ever came up. A Polaroid camera did wonders to spreading enthusiasm for taking pictures. Suddenly everyone wanted to "break the law" and get themselves immortalized!
NANOU's photographer came upon some
highly suspicious sheep moving operations.
